PRIVACY POLICY POLICY

At Viva La Resistance, we take your privacy as seriously as we take your training. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected. We are not in the business of selling your information. We are in the business of building a resistance.

01Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us — including your name, email address, payment information, and fitness goals — when you enroll in a membership, book a class, or make a purchase through our shop.

We also collect usage data such as class attendance records, workout logs you submit through the member portal, and device and browser information when you access our website. This operational data helps us serve you better.

02How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively for the following mission-critical purposes:

To manage your membership, process payments, and communicate account information. To provide access to classes, personal training sessions, and portal features. To send you information about promotions, new programs, and VLR news — but only if you have opted in to marketing communications.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Ever.

03Payment Security

All payment processing is handled through PCI-compliant third-party processors. We never store your full credit card number on our servers. Payment data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols.

In the event of a security incident that may affect your payment information, we will notify affected members as required by applicable law — and likely faster.

04Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze site traffic. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized — we track patterns, not people.

You may disable cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect the functionality of member portal features.

05Data Retention

We retain your membership and transaction records for 7 years following the end of your membership, as required for tax and legal compliance. Fitness and attendance logs are retained for 3 years. You may request deletion of non-required data at any time by contacting us at privacy@vlrfitness.com.

06Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to opt out of certain types of data processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@vlrfitness.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
